Leaving your home country and living on the other side of the world is an adventure. And, it's been interesting one :) But It will make you miss home after a while and you will crave going back and seeing all your friends and family, or just to breath the same air.
As I can afford to fly every second year or so, it's always a bit of an event for me and I'm looking forward to that moment with an excitement.
For the last few years, there has been something added to that excitement though, and I have one more thing to look forward to. Yep, you guessed it right. Urbex :D
New Zealand is a beautiful country, with some amazing places to see and visit or to live. Surprisingly there is also a lot of places to explore and I have been with my friends and Urbex NZ to some extraordinary places. Let's do more! There is something magical back home in Europe though, and now, going home will always feel like a bit of a treasure hunt!
My last trip home was about a year and a half ago.
I'll try not to bore you with my bragging about how exciting the places we visited with Urbex.cz were. But they were :D
As a part of my trip, we already had pre-planned another trip within Europe which I'll mention later.
After being in my home town Trutnov for few days and seeing my family, I have the urge to go and see things and places.
So off I went to Pardubice, a city my friend DiverZant lives in. The same night after meeting him and buying some beers for later, we didn't waste any time and went to scope some places out :)
I didn't bring my camera that time and we didn't get into the place we intended to, but that was going to change in near future.
For the next day we have planned some explores in the region. Leaving about midday (we like to sleep in..) the first place was really a coincidence.
Just on the way to another location, this little factory/workshop was just on the side of the road. The place seemed still
reasonably active and some people lived on the site but we thought why not and went in. Finding an entrance was easy, and soon enough we were in a bit of a time warp.
After a while exploring this place, we heard some voices, and as usual, adrenaline kicked in a bit.
They never knew we were there, even though we were there for quite a while with our hosts just playing hide and seek :)

After leaving this place unseen, my fellow explorer was a bit disappointed we didn't get confronted. Guess he wanted a bit more rush. His tolerance is a bit higher for this kind of drug I think.
Next stop, an old beautiful Villa, which once belonged to a high profile businessman.

Once inside, who wouldn't like to taste some vintage pickled
gherkin in a jar..
We didn't taste the gherkin..
or read some letters from the president's office dated 1948?
Just checking the surroundings nearby the Villa, where we met with a man armed with an air rifle and a woman, both being quite hostile.
They had some robberies in these buildings lately so weren't too happy with us there. So avoiding lead pellet in our body parts,
we left for other more interesting places. After that, we only made it to nearby ponds for bit of a relax :)

The Next day it was time to re-visit out first night attempt. This time we found a way easily.
What this was, I don't think I need to comment much as most people will get the idea.
Originally Telegrafia EST. 1919, bought this object and opened in 1922. First radios "Radiola" was made here in 1925.
In 1945, Telegrafia was integrated into newly established concern TESLA, making low current appliances.
The factory closed in 1990 following the end of communist after revolution in 1989.

After that I left back to my hometown for a week or so. We met again as a birthday party was held at our friends place. The plan was to visit a nearby location before we get too drunk. Or was it day after the party with hangover? Can't remember :D
DiverZant knew where we were going.
I didn't.
:O
After hopping over some gates and inside through broken windows, I was amazed yet again!
