With Christchurch's CBD still under major development, the city still lacks serious resources in the center but is vastly growing. It is ashame to see suburbs are slightly getting left behind, a friend mentioned to me that Chch reminded him of Berlin, perhaps this will be so. I just wish the council would better spend there money on beautifying the city to make it more appealing to tourists. Besides Urbex I found little tourist things to do, I did like the fact that there was a playground being constructed in the name of Margaret Mahy.
On my second to last night, we spent the evening visiting about 10 houses that where hit by the quake up on a cliff (wont mention where ) but this was the first time I got the impression anyone from the public for along time had been inside these homes, they where quite out of reach and near for demolition, million dollar views and alot of them had stunning architecture to match the view, pool houses and large balcony's.
Few things to remember when visiting Christchurch.
-Tinder does not come with a fairy tale ending (he may pee your bed at 5am after beers)
-Lesbian experiences should not be followed by a date
-Never take advice from you're mother or you'll have to meet her whole family
- Be curious and less cautious, you may discover the most coolest place you've never been.
FINALLY
-If anyone asks I'm from Eketahuna, I am not owning up to being a jaffa ever again.
Nathan,
